MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats.
In order to watch DVD movies, video files and YouTube videos on iPod Nano, you need to rip the DVD movies and convert the video files to the video format iPod Nano recognizes, and then transfer the output video files to your iPod Nano with the sync of iTunes Library.

1. Import DVD movies, video files or YouTube videos

If you want to watch online YouTube videos on your iPod Nano, click the “YouTube” button on the main interface. In the pop-up window, copy and paste the URLs of the YouTube videos one by one.
